Custom challenges: closed software, vintage ERP, no-API systems

Almost always something can be done: browser automation, email parsing, OCR, targeted RPA.

But these solutions are inherently more fragile and need case-by-case evaluation. In the call I tell you honestly what to expect, hidden maintenance costs, and when redesigning the process is better.

FAQ

How long does a typical project take? +

A base package is 4-6 weeks from audit to go-live. Particularly complex setups can reach 8 weeks. Standalone audit only: 1-2 weeks.

What do I need to provide? +

For the audit you'll need access to the system to be automated (or a test environment), a team member who knows the process, and 2-3 hours availability for the initial discovery.

Can I buy support after go-live? +

Yes, monthly maintenance packages or on-demand intervention with defined SLA are available. We'll discuss this at proposal stage.

Do you work on-site or only remote? +

Primarily remote. For critical phases (initial audit, team training, go-live) we can work on-site if you're in Italy, with travel arrangements.

Are you a freelancer or do you have a company? +

Individual VAT registration, regular invoicing. For projects requiring corporate structure we evaluate case by case.

How do you handle NDAs and sensitive data? +

Standard NDA signed before audit. For projects with sensitive data we apply minimal-privilege access procedures and complete audit logging.

Do you work on software without APIs or closed business systems? +

Yes, it's a niche I have experience in. In the call we honestly evaluate fragility and maintenance costs: sometimes it's better to redesign the process instead of forcing automation.
